The Challenge
The Suzuki Alto sustained extensive accident damage across multiple body panels and the rear section. Damage included the doors, wings, rear bumper and lighting, together with bent rear suspension and axle components, damaged wheels and tyres, and exhaust-related components.
Work Completed
Accident Repair & Bodyshop
Body repairs included the LHS rear door, LHS front door, RHF wing, LHF wing and LHS rear wing.
Damaged components requiring replacement included the RHS tail light, RHR wing, RHR door, rear bumper assembly, bumper slides, RHS headlight, front grille and RHF seat belt.
Jigging and welding were also carried out as part of restoring the accident-damaged body structure and panel alignment.
Paint & Refinishing
Following the panel and structural repairs, the affected body areas were prepared with 2K primer and professionally refinished to restore a consistent exterior finish.
Service & Mechanical
Mechanical repairs addressed accident damage to the rear running gear and suspension.
Work included replacement of the bent trailing arms and rear axle, rear shock absorbers, exhaust tail pipe assembly and rubber stop. Damaged tyres and rims were also replaced, followed by wheel alignment.
The Result
The Suzuki Alto underwent comprehensive accident restoration, with damaged body and mechanical components repaired or replaced as required. Rear suspension and axle components were renewed, affected body panels were repaired and aligned, and jigging, welding and wheel alignment were carried out before the repaired areas were prepared and refinished.
