The Challenge
The Mercedes-Benz C200 sustained extensive front-end accident damage affecting the body structure, cooling and engine-related components, windscreen, SRS safety systems and electronic controls. Additional electronic components were identified during the repair process, requiring further diagnosis and coding.
Work Completed
Accident Repair & Bodyshop
Major front-end accident restoration included replacement of the nose-cut assembly, bonnet, RHS front wing and associated damaged components. Structural repairs included attention to the chassis frame and RHS wing valance together with jigging. The damaged front windscreen was also replaced as part of the accident restoration.

The SRS safety system required extensive restoration including replacement of the dashboard airbag assembly, steering airbag assembly, driver knee airbag, SRS module, front seat belts, seat-belt buckles and front crash sensors. Additional work included replacement of the direct shift module (switch unit) and slider kit, followed by electrical diagnosis and online coding.
Paint & Refinishing
The repaired and replaced body panels were prepared and refinished following the structural and accident repair work.
Service & Mechanical
Accident-damaged mechanical and cooling components were replaced, including radiator and intercooler pipework, water-pump related components, engine fan belt, engine mounting, engine main pulley, air-cleaner housing and associated components.
