The Challenge
The Mazda Axela required accident repairs affecting the front and right-hand side, with damage extending beyond the exterior bodywork into suspension, steering and underbody components. The front bumper, RHF suspension components, wheel area and several body panels required repair or replacement.
Work Completed
Accident Repair & Bodyshop
Accident repairs included replacement of the front bumper with fog lights and DRLs together with damaged underbody and exterior components. Body repairs were carried out to the FRHS wing, FRHS door, RRHS door and rear bumper.
Diagnostics, Electrical & AC
The FRHS ABS sensor was replaced as part of the accident repair work, together with the lighting components incorporated in the replacement front bumper assembly.
Service & Mechanical
Mechanical and suspension repairs included replacement of the FRHS shock absorber, hub, control arm, drive shaft boot, cross member, tyre, rim and related components. Wheel alignment and camber adjustment were completed after the repairs.
The Result
The vehicle underwent comprehensive accident repairs covering the damaged front and right-hand-side areas. The front bumper and affected suspension, steering, wheel and underbody components were replaced as required. Body repairs were completed to the FRHS wing, FRHS door, RRHS door and rear bumper, followed by preparation and refinishing of the affected panels. Wheel alignment and camber adjustment were also carried out following the suspension repairs.
