The Challenge
The Audi A3 required extensive accident repairs following damage to the front and left-hand side, affecting multiple body panels, front suspension and steering components, lighting, wheels and safety-related interior components.
Work Completed
Accident Repair & Bodyshop
Replaced the front bumper and bumper slides, LH headlight washer jet and cover, fog light and LH fog light cover, LH headlight, front wing light, LH front wing, bonnet, LH front stone guard, radiator panel, horn, front valance, windscreen moulding and LH bonnet hinges.
Replaced affected safety and interior components including the front seat belts, RH pillar speaker, RH roof airbag and interior lights.
Repaired the windscreen washer jet and LH front door.
Paint & Refinishing
Completed panel beating, surface preparation, 2K priming and paint refinishing to the affected repair areas, including the front bumper, bonnet, rims and associated body panels, followed by reassembly and finishing.
Service & Mechanical
Replaced the LH front steering knuckle, LH front control arm, LH front stabilizer link, LH front shock absorber, rack end, front tie-rod end, front brake pad sensor, rear LH lower control arm and front height-control link.
Replaced the LH front tyre (205/60R16), LH front rim and RH rear rim.
The Result
The Audi A3 underwent extensive accident restoration addressing body, suspension, steering, lighting, wheel and safety-system damage. Damaged components were replaced as required, including affected front body components, suspension and steering parts, seat belts and the RH roof airbag. Panel beating and body repairs were completed before the affected areas were professionally prepared, 2K primed and refinished, followed by reassembly and final inspection.
