The Challenge
The Mazda CX-5 sustained accident damage affecting the left-hand front area, including suspension and steering components, underbody protection and associated front body components. Damage included bent, torn, missing and dislodged parts, with the LH front tyre also damaged.
Work Completed
Accident Repair & Bodyshop
Replaced the damaged LH radiator finisher, LH foglight and cover, LH stoneguard, tow hook cover, engine sump guard and splashguard.
Body repair work was carried out to the accident-affected LH front section, including preparation of the LH front door, LH front wing and front bumper for refinishing.
Paint & Refinishing
The LH front door, LH front wing and front bumper were prepared and professionally refinished following completion of the accident repairs. Bumper primer was applied as part of the refinishing process.
Service & Mechanical
Replaced the damaged LH rack end, LH stabilizer link, LH driveshaft, gearbox sump, front cross-member bracket and LH tie rod end.
The damaged LH front tyre was replaced and wheel balancing carried out. Gearbox oil was also attended to as part of the mechanical repair work.
The Result
The Mazda CX-5 underwent accident restoration addressing the damaged left-hand front area, with steering, suspension, underbody protection and associated front-end components replaced as required. The affected body panels were repaired and professionally refinished, the damaged LH front tyre was replaced, and wheel balancing and the required gearbox oil work were completed as part of the mechanical repairs.
